Tata Curvv Latest Update

Tata has confirmed the launch timeline for the Tata Curvv, a SUV-coupe that is expected to be on sale by late 2024. The ICE version of the Curvv is expected to be priced from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. It will seat up to 5 passengers and have a boot space of 422 litres. The vehicle will use a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol TGDi engine and be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It will also be available with the Nexon's 1.5-litre diesel engine. Key features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof. The Curvv will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross, and MG Astor.

The Skoda Kushaq is a compact SUV priced between Rs 11.89 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh in India. It comes in three variants: Active, Ambition, and Style, with the special Elegance edition starting at Rs 18.31 lakh. The Kushaq is available in 5 monotone and 1 dual-tone colour options, with the Elegance edition featuring a Deep-black exterior. It seats five and has a boot space of 385 litres. The SUV has two turbo-petrol engines: a 1-litre and a 1.5-litre engine. Both engines are paired with a standard 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1.5-litre engine has cylinder deactivation technology for enhanced fuel efficiency. Key features include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital driver display, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, powered driver and co-driver seat, illuminated footwell, a 6-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, and wireless phone charging. The Kushaq also has up to six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rear-view camera. It competes with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Volkswagen Taigun is a 5-seater SUV with a price range of Rs 11.70 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, available in two variants: Dynamic Line and Performance Line. It comes in eight colors and has a boot space of 385 litres. The vehicle is powered by two turbo-petrol engines, one with a 1-litre engine and the other with a 1.5-litre engine. The 1.5-litre engine offers enhanced fuel efficiency. Key features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, and automatic climate control. The Taigun competes with Hyundai Creta, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Honda Elevate.

The Kia Seltos facelift has attracted over 1 lakh bookings since its launch, with the vehicle available in three variants: Tech (HT) Line, GT Line, and X-Line. The updated model comes in 8 monotone, two dual-tone, and matte colors and can seat up to five people. It offers a boot space of 433 litres and comes with three engine options: 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol. Key features include a dual 10.25-inch display, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. The safety kit includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-assist control, tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems. The Kia Seltos faces rivals like the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

The Hyundai Creta has sold 10 lakh units in India since its launch, with seven variants available in six monotone and one dual-tone color options. The vehicle can accommodate five passengers and comes with three powertrain choices: 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel. The facelift features 10.25-inch displays, connected car technology, dual-zone AC, Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and ventilated front seats. The Hyundai Creta competes with Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Honda Elevate.

Tata Motors has launched the Tata Punch EV at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh, marking its fourth electric offering after the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and Nexon EV. The vehicle features an updated design, with cues from the Nexon EV, such as connected LED DRLs and alloy wheels. Notable features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver's display, and a 360-degree camera. The Punch EV comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake, a blind view monitor, and a 360-degree camera with parking sensors. It is available in five trims and comes in colors like Pristine White, Seaweed Green, Daytona Grey, Fearless Red, and Empowered Oxide.
