Latest Update:  Latest electric offering by TATA, the Tiago EV, has been Drive by the company.

Bookings will open on October 10 and deliveries will start in January 2023.

Price: Tata Tiago EV’s prices start from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants: Tata offers the Tiago EV in four varient: XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux

Seating Capacity: Five-seater electric hatchback.

Battery Pack and Range: Tata has provided the Tiago EV with two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh batteries paired with an electric motor making 61PS/110Nm and 75PS/114Nm, respectively.

The departed gets a range of 250km and the latter gets 315km. 

Charging: It have four charging options: a 15A socket charger, a 3.3 kW AC charger, a 7.2kW AC charger and a DC fast charger. 

The charging cycle for both batteries:

• 15A Socket Charger: 8.7 hours (24kWh), 6.9 hours (19.2kWh)
• 3.3kW AC Charger: 6.4 hours (24kWh), 5.1 hours (19.2kWh)
• 7.2kW AC Charger: 3.6 hours (24kWh), 2.6 hours (19.2kWh)
• DC Fast Charger: 10-80% in 57 minutes for both

Features: Features onboard Tata’s electric hatchback include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a four-speaker Harman sound system, auto AC, foldable ORVMs, rain sensing wipers and steering-mounted controls. Features like cruise control and regenerative braking are also on offer.

Safety: Its safety kit comprises dual front airbags, cornering brake control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD and a rearview camera.
