Latest Update:  Latest electric offering by TATA, the Tiago EV, has been Drive by the company.

Bookings will open on October 10 and deliveries will start in January 2023.

Price: Tata Tiago EV’s prices start from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants: Tata offers the Tiago EV in four varient: XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux

Seating Capacity: Five-seater electric hatchback.

Battery Pack and Range: Tata has provided the Tiago EV with two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh batteries paired with an electric motor making 61PS/110Nm and 75PS/114Nm, respectively.

The departed gets a range of 250km and the latter gets 315km. 

Charging: It have four charging options: a 15A socket charger, a 3.3 kW AC charger, a 7.2kW AC charger and a DC fast charger. 

The charging cycle for both batteries:

• 15A Socket Charger: 8.7 hours (24kWh), 6.9 hours (19.2kWh)
• 3.3kW AC Charger: 6.4 hours (24kWh), 5.1 hours (19.2kWh)
• 7.2kW AC Charger: 3.6 hours (24kWh), 2.6 hours (19.2kWh)
• DC Fast Charger: 10-80% in 57 minutes for both

Features: Features onboard Tata’s electric hatchback include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a four-speaker Harman sound system, auto AC, foldable ORVMs, rain sensing wipers and steering-mounted controls. Features like cruise control and regenerative braking are also on offer.

Safety: Its safety kit comprises dual front airbags, cornering brake control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD and a rearview camera.

Mumbai, August 29, 2022: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., pioneers of the SUV segment in India today announced the start of deliveries of the blockbuster SUV, the All-New Scorpio-N, which was launched in June this year. The company will be starting the deliveries of the All-New Scorpio-N from the festive occasion of Navratri on 26th of September, 2022 and it plans to deliver over 7,000 vehicles within the first 10 days of delivery commencement. The company announced priority delivery of the Z8-L variant, and has assured delivery in two months to Z8-L customers from the first 25,000 bookings. While the waiting period varies for different variants, the average waiting period for the first 25,000 bookings, which also bagged an attractive introductory price, will be just four months. Speaking on the occasion, Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., said, “We are delighted to commence deliveries of the All-New Scorpio-N on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. We are committed to roll out the vehicles in full force, and our highly automated manufacturing line which was a part of the investment on Scorpio-N, will help us achieve the deliveries faster.” The delivery timeline will be communicated for the first 25,000 bookings through CRM channels starting tomorrow, while the customers beyond the first 25,000 bookings will be communicated their estimated delivery period in the next 10 days. 2020 G.S.R. 308(E).— Whereas, the draft rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, were published, as required under sub-section (1) of section 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number G.S.R. 923(E), dated the 12th December, 2019, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public; And, whereas, copies of the said Official Gazette notification were made available to the public on the 12th December, 2019; And, whereas, the objections and suggestions received from the public in respect of the said draft rules have been considered by the Central Government.
